Hi Amanda

Such beautiful pictures of you all. Smile Patrick is a stunning little boy (and there's nothing wrong with eating nails, I've done it all my life! I assume you mean finger nails? Blink ).

Thank you for such kind replies.

Lyn- sadly i didn't mean finger nails! Patrick nearly swallowed a small nail (actually it was a screw) which he found in his choc cheesecake in a restaurant last year! It was *very* upsetting! Thankfully he was fine but it certainly distressed us all.....

Hope you're feeling MUCH better today.

Love,

Amanda

Oh no Amanda how frightening. You worry so much anyway when they're only little but a screw in a chocolate cheesecake?Blink Imagine the damage that might have caused to little Patrick. You must have been beside yourselves; hope you gave the restaurant a hard time. Guess that's one place you'll be avoiding in the future! I restrict myself to finger nails, leave the hardware for someone else!

I am feeling much more like my usual self today. I'm always amazed how quickly the antibiotics work and it's a big relief to know the infection will soon be under control. Thank you for asking Amanda,

It was a truly horrific evening Lyn, one i won't forget in a long time but thank God Patrick took the choc covered screw out of his mouth and showed me.

We ended up reporting the restaurant to health and safety and they did a thorough check of the premises and a few things were found to be inappropriate.

The very worst thing of all was that Patrick didn't receive an apology.

I so hope you are feeling much better today. Anti bios (if I remember) can work within the day can't they!

Love,

Amanda

Thank you Lyn, and the best thing is I will see baby Marianna tomorrow at the home schooling group I run! Her Mam is picking us up in her 17 seater VAN! LOL

It can fit both our families in now, but only just! LOLOL

Love,

Amanda
